World Physiotherapy Congress 2025 successfully concluded in Tokyo, Japan, from May 29 to 31! Over 4,000 physiotherapists, World Physiotherapy executive board members, and representatives from member organizations worldwide gathered to participate in this grand event in the physiotherapy field.
The congress was held at the Tokyo International Forum, featuring nearly 10 parallel sessions that explored a variety of trending topics in physiotherapy. The event also hosted several exhibitions showcasing the latest physiotherapy equipment and academic research, guiding clinical practices and helping physiotherapists deliver more precise and effective solutions to address the needs of their service users.
Our organization also sent six representatives to attend the congress, where they engaged in exchanges with peers from around the world, fostering connections and drawing inspiration from successful global practices to promote the development of the physiotherapy profession locally.
During the congress, representatives not only attended academic sessions but also participated in various forums, including the World Physiotherapy Networking Meeting, Asia-Western Pacific Regional Networking Meeting, Hydrotherapy Special Interest Group Meeting, Women’s Health Special Interest Group Meeting, Physical Activity Guidelines Discussion, the 5th Asia Physical Therapy Forum and hospital visit.
